Retainer · For established teams

A right hand for the team you already have.

For businesses that are already up and running, with a team in place, but no one owning the priorities, the numbers, and the operational weight at once. I step in as a fractional partner: I drive what matters, hold the team accountable, and keep finance and operations on track, so you get back to leading.

Who this is for

You already have a team and the work is happening. What is missing is someone senior holding it together.

  • The team is busy, but priorities drift
  • The numbers exist, but no one owns them weekly
  • You are still the bottleneck for every decision
  • Systems are in place but nobody is maintaining the standard

You get a partner who carries the operational weight and keeps the whole thing moving, without hiring a full-time COO.

Build first, or partner?

These are two different stages, and it is worth being honest about which you are in.

  • Still missing the systems? Start with the done-for-you build, that creates what you do not have yet.
  • Team and systems already running? The Fractional Partner retainer keeps them on track over time.
  • Did a build with me? Many clients move into a retainer afterward, so the standard holds.

What I take on

The operational weight, off your shoulders.

Priorities & accountability

I drive the priorities week to week, hold the team to them, and chase the loose ends so nothing stalls.

Finance & numbers

CFA-level finance fluency. Clean numbers, KPI dashboards, and a single read on the business you can actually act on.

Operations & systems

I keep the systems running to standard, fix what drifts, and make sure the day-to-day holds without you in every step.

Team oversight

Your right hand across the team. I keep people aligned, unblock them, and carry the management load.

AI where it helps

I bring AI into the real work, briefs, summaries, reporting, so the team ships more without more headcount.

A weekly update

Every week you get a clear read on what moved, what is next, and where I need you, in one email.

Retainers

Two levels of partnership.

Both run month to month. Pick the level of involvement that matches what the business needs right now.

Core

$2,500 – $4,000 / mo

Around 10 hours a week.

A hands-on partner. I drive the priorities and the numbers week to week, hold the team accountable, and carry the operational weight with you.

  • Everything in Light, deeper involvement
  • Hands-on team and project oversight
  • Dashboards and reporting owned
  • Direct line through the week

Prefer hourly? The floor is $150 an hour, though the monthly retainer is almost always the better value.

FAQ

Fractional questions, answered.

Is this for a team I already have, or to build one?

This is for a team that already exists and is running. I oversee the people and systems you have. If you are still building the systems and bringing on your first hire, the done-for-you build is the better starting point.

How do I choose between Light and Core?

Light is about 5 hours a week at $1,500 to $2,000 a month, for steady oversight. Core is about 10 hours a week at $2,500 to $4,000 a month, for a hands-on partner driving priorities and the numbers week to week.

What is the minimum commitment?

Retainers run month to month after an initial month, so you are never locked into a long contract. Most partnerships settle into a rhythm within the first few weeks.

How are hours tracked?

Each tier is scoped around a weekly hours band rather than a stopwatch, and you get a weekly update on what moved. If you would rather work hourly, the floor is $150 an hour.

How is this different from the done-for-you build?

The build creates systems you do not have yet. The Fractional Partner retainer oversees the team and systems you already have. Many clients build first, then move into a retainer.
