Retainer · For established teams
For businesses that are already up and running, with a team in place, but no one owning the priorities, the numbers, and the operational weight at once. I step in as a fractional partner: I drive what matters, hold the team accountable, and keep finance and operations on track, so you get back to leading.
You already have a team and the work is happening. What is missing is someone senior holding it together.
You get a partner who carries the operational weight and keeps the whole thing moving, without hiring a full-time COO.
These are two different stages, and it is worth being honest about which you are in.
What I take on
I drive the priorities week to week, hold the team to them, and chase the loose ends so nothing stalls.
CFA-level finance fluency. Clean numbers, KPI dashboards, and a single read on the business you can actually act on.
I keep the systems running to standard, fix what drifts, and make sure the day-to-day holds without you in every step.
Your right hand across the team. I keep people aligned, unblock them, and carry the management load.
I bring AI into the real work, briefs, summaries, reporting, so the team ships more without more headcount.
Every week you get a clear read on what moved, what is next, and where I need you, in one email.
Retainers
Both run month to month. Pick the level of involvement that matches what the business needs right now.
Light
Around 5 hours a week.
Steady senior oversight. I keep priorities clear, the numbers honest, and the systems on track, with you still leading day to day.
Core
Around 10 hours a week.
A hands-on partner. I drive the priorities and the numbers week to week, hold the team accountable, and carry the operational weight with you.
Prefer hourly? The floor is $150 an hour, though the monthly retainer is almost always the better value.
FAQ
This is for a team that already exists and is running. I oversee the people and systems you have. If you are still building the systems and bringing on your first hire, the done-for-you build is the better starting point.
Light is about 5 hours a week at $1,500 to $2,000 a month, for steady oversight. Core is about 10 hours a week at $2,500 to $4,000 a month, for a hands-on partner driving priorities and the numbers week to week.
Retainers run month to month after an initial month, so you are never locked into a long contract. Most partnerships settle into a rhythm within the first few weeks.
Each tier is scoped around a weekly hours band rather than a stopwatch, and you get a weekly update on what moved. If you would rather work hourly, the floor is $150 an hour.
The build creates systems you do not have yet. The Fractional Partner retainer oversees the team and systems you already have. Many clients build first, then move into a retainer.
